Hotel Zamara
Come party this bank holiday at London's hottest party for Black cultural expression
Photographer Filmabdi has been making waves across London with his romantic depictions of Black love, community and friendship captured through immersive candid photography. His longstanding appreciation of the forefathers of African photography have undoubtedly influenced not only his photographic style, but one of London's most exciting events, Hotel Zamara. The fictional pan-African world of Zamara invites party goers to cut loose and showcase the style that defines them, all in community with like minded fellow citizens of Zamara's imagined utopia which puts music at its core.
The Sunday will see the third instalment when Hotel Zamara will return to Notting Hill Arts Club, hosting a day party from 17:00 - 23:00 ahead of the May Day bank holiday the following day. Expect to see The Zamara Star Band, comprising of DJs; Bridget Ekelectic, Backstrap, TKAMA and host, Mo.B.
