Donald Trump’s “Never Surrender” sneakers are sold out

Times are hard for all of us. Plenty of us can surely relate to being strapped for cash and turning to Depop or Vinted to flog a few trainers for a quick cash injection. In perhaps the most extreme iteration of that imaginable, former President and likely incumbent (depending on the outcome of several court cases) Donald Trump has entered the sneaker selling market. A New York court ruling in a business fraud case against him found The Apprentice star had embellished his wealth and assets as he grew his real estate empire. Consequently, Trump owes the state of New York a reported $454m and has been unable to secure creditors. This may be the reasoning behind recent money making schemes like the $399 Never Surrender hi-tops (yes they’re genuinely called that), $60 bibles that include excepts from the American constitution and lyrics of country star Lee Greenwood’s God Bless The USA as well as Trump brand cologne.
