That Gorilla Brand present their AW24 collection Gahinga

The Gorilla Brand's AW24 Gahinga collection is another triumph for the premium lifestyle brand that firmly puts the biosphere at the forefront.

Fashion responsbility is an ever evolving conversation and many brands are struggling to keep up with consumers heightened awareness of the industry's environmental impact. Premium lifestyle brand That Gorilla Band have made great inroads into making an often (justifiably) castigated industry a force for good. Born out of an initial passion for gorilla conservation. That Gorilla Brand have expanded their mission and already donated €220,000 towards Community Projects to support communities and wildlife surrounding The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. For this collection they enlisted ex-Burberry and Evisu designer, Johnny Diamandis to deliver a range of products ranging from hoodies and joggers to military-style jackets. With a colour landscape inspired by the hues of the Ugandan landscape the pieces also feature commissioned art from New York-based illustrator and watercolour artist Chris Sharp. The AW24 Gahinga collection will continue in this vein as a portion of the profits from each piece purchased from the collection will be donated to support The Gorilla Organization’s community led conservation projects. You can learn more about the brand, their manufacturing process and see their brilliant short films further explaining the cruciality of environmental responsibility via their website where you'll also be able to shop the Gahinga collection from August 1st.
