Joshua Woods gives Converse his take on traditional African portraiture

This summer we headed to Afronation for the second year running to speak to festival goers and key artists including Dexta Daps, M1onthebeat and Odeal. The Portugal based festival has become a cultural mecca for the African diaspora celebrating a rich shared history and love of music. This year Converse partnered with esteemed photographer Joshua Woods to to create a portrait studio channelling the composition and set design of some of the continent's seminal image makers.
