Art Not Evidence announce fundraiser

Activists, lawyers, creatives and MPs are coming together to tackle the criminalisation of rap and drill

Since 2023 Art Not Evidence have been working with lawyers, creatives, academics, journalists, youth workers, music industry professionals and human rights campaigners to fight the criminalisation of rap in British courts. Through workshops, festival stands, panel talks and meeting with politicians this grassroots campaign has gained significant momentum in a short period of time. Public support is crucial as they work towards their ultimate goal of law reform. On Wednesday 24th of September they will be hosting a fundraiser enabling them to continue to hire the best team to make that goal a reality. Head down to the summer party to enjoy drinks, canapés, panoramic views, entertainment and special guests including Professor Erik Nielson - expert witness for Young Thug and author of Rap on Trial.
